Resolution of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) on the war in Ukraine and its economic, social and environmental impact
The #EUGreenDeal must be the cornerstone of the 2022 #WorkProgramme as an opportunity for the development of a sustainable & socially inclusive economy.
At its plenary session of 09 and 10 June 2021, the EESC adopted the following resolution by 175 votes with 2 abstentions.
The Social Summit in Porto on 7 May 2021 provides a unique opportunity for the EU to place citizens squarely at the centre of the European project. It is an opportunity to demonstrate that the EU and Member States act together with its citizens and for their well-being, leaving nobody behind.
At its plenary session of 27 and 28 April 2021 (meeting of 27 April), the European Economic and Social Committee adopted the following resolution by 228 votes to 1with 5 abstentions.
