Vyšší úředníci Evropského hospodářského a sociálního výboru obvykle v průběhu 12 měsíců od skončení služebního poměru nesmí lobbovat u svých bývalých kolegů. EHSV sleduje externí činnosti svých bývalých vyšších úředníků a každoročně o tomto monitorování podává zprávu.
