Višji uradniki v obdobju 12 mesecev po prenehanju zaposlitve v Evropskem ekonomsko-socialnem odboru praviloma ne smejo lobirati ali zastopati interesov pri svojih nekdanjih sodelavcih. EESO spremlja zunanje dejavnosti nekdanjih višjih uradnikov in vsako leto o tem objavi poročilo.
