  • zachování dvoustranných vztahů s hospodářskými a sociálními radami jednotlivých zemí v regionu a úsilí o vytvoření podmínek pro zapojení občanské společnosti do politického dialogu v jižních partnerských zemích,
  • formulaci stanovisek a společných zpráv o klíčových politických výzvách, jimž region čelí,
  • organizaci pravidelných setkání se zástupci evropských orgánů a mezinárodních organizací s cílem projednat politiky dotýkající se občanské společnosti v celém regionu,
  • organizaci každoročního summitu hospodářských a sociálních rad a obdobných institucí, na němž jsou tvůrcům politik z řad EU a vlád jednotlivých zemí předkládána klíčová politická doporučení k řešení hlavních problémů regionu.

This feasibility study to generate statistics on climate-induced migration and ways forward sought to gather and review existing data on climate-induced migration, focussing on five Member States (France, Germany, Greece, Italy and Spain) and one candidate country (Türkiye), to inform an effective EU response. There is no universally agreed definition of climate-induced migration. The majority of population movements as a result of rapid onset events takes place within a country as opposed to across borders.
