The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) is the voice of organised civil society in Europe.

The EESC issues between 160 and 190 opinions, evaluation and information reports a year.
It also organises several annual initiatives and events with a focus on civil society and citizens’ participation such as the Civil Society Prize, the Civil Society Days, the Your Europe, Your Say youth plenary and the ECI Day.

The EESC brings together representatives from all areas of organised civil society, who give their independent advice on EU policies and legislation. The EESC's326 Members are organised into three groups: Employers, Workers and Various Interests.

Využitiu potenciálu digitálnych energetických systémov stále bráni priveľa prekážok. Inteligentnejšie riešenia sa ťažko zavádzajú do praxe najmä pre náročnosť administratívnych postupov, nedostatok účinných stimulov a nepružnosť prenosovej a distribučnej sústavy v dôsledku nedostatočných investícií do energetickej infraštruktúry.
K týmto hlavným záverom dospel EHSV vo svojom stanovisku na tému Digitalizácia energetického systému – akčný plán EÚ.
Stanovisko spoločne pripravili spravodajcovia Thomas Kattnig a Zsolt Kükedi a bolo prijaté na marcovom plenárnom zasadnutí výboru.
EHSV vo všeobecnosti víta ciele a väčšinu opatrení akčného plánu Európskej komisie. Domnieva sa však, že Komisia ho nezačlenila do všeobecnej energetickej politiky, a zavádza tak izolovaný prístup. Výsledkom digitalizácie energetického systému musia byť kooperatívne riešenia, pri ktorých sú používatelia stimulovaní zapojiť sa do takéhoto digitalizovaného systému.
Pokiaľ ide o návrh budúcej energetickej infraštruktúry, do rozvoja inteligentných energetických systémov musia byť aktívne zapojení všetci spotrebitelia. „Je mimoriadne dôležité posilniť úlohu aktívnych spotrebiteľov v digitalizácii, povzbudzovať ich k tomu, aby používali čo najviac inteligentných riešení, a dať im takúto možnosť,“ uviedol spoluspravodajca Kükedi.
Navyše hrozí, že nové služby založené na údajoch a inovatívne technologické riešenia nebudú zavádzané dostatočne rýchlo pre nedostatok kvalifikovaných pracovníkov a vyškolených odborníkov, ktorí by s ich zavádzaním pomohli. Na dosiahnutie vytýčených cieľov je potrebné prijať účelové opatrenia na trhu práce a vo vzdelávaní. „Potrebujeme koordinovaný prístup a intenzívnu spoluprácu so sociálnymi partnermi. Rovnako nevyhnutná je spolupráca s organizáciami občianskej spoločnosti,“ pripomenul spravodajca Kattnig. (mp)
