The results are in. After an impressive 428 applications to take part in Your Europe, Your Say! (YEYS) 2016, 33 schools from 28 EU Member States and five candidate countries have been selected to take part. We are thrilled that so many young people have expressed interest in this exciting event, and we can’t wait to meet the winning schools and students in March.

Keskkooliõpilased kogu Euroopast esitasid Euroopa Komisjoni väärtuste ja läbipaistvuse valdkonna asepresidendile Věra Jourovále kaheksa konkreetset ettepanekut. Õpilased osalesid virtuaalsel noorteüritusel „Sinu Euroopa, Sinu arvamus“ (YEYS2022), mis kandis pealkirja „Tõde valede kohta. Noored võitlevad desinformatsiooni vastu“. Ürituse korraldas Euroopa Majandus- ja Sotsiaalkomitee 31. märtsil ja 1. aprillil 2022.

Euroopa poliitikat käsitlev kohustuslik õppekava, mille eesmärk on avardada kodanike teadmisi enne hääletamisel osalemist, oli kõige enam hääli kogunud ettepanek Euroopa Majandus- ja Sotsiaalkomitee korraldatud noorteüritusel „Sinu Euroopa, Sinu arvamus 2019“, mis toimus 21.–22. märtsil 2019. See algatus ja kolm teist valituks osutunud ettepanekut, mis keskenduvad uute tehnoloogiate ja sotsiaalmeedia kasutamisele Euroopa Parlamendi valimistel osalemise aktiivsuse suurendamiseks, edastatakse kaalumiseks Euroopa Parlamendile.
