12th meeting of the EU-Serbia Civil Society Joint Consultative Committee

The EU-Serbia Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) held its 12th meeting on 26 November 2021 in Belgarde, Serbia. It is a platform established within the institutional framework of the EU‑Serbia Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA), enabling representatives of both the EU and the Serbian civil society to monitor the country's accession negotiations, discuss issues of common interest and point out concerns to be tackled on the Serbian path towards the European Union.

Besides the current state of play in EU-Serbia relations and the accession process, main topics of the 12th JCC meeting were Rule of law and functioning of democratic institutions and Importance of the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans for Serbia and Cluster 4 of the revised methodology.

A common declaration of the JCC was issued after the meeting.
