Με το φόρουμ δόθηκε νέα ώθηση στην προσπάθεια της περιοχής να προσχωρήσει στην ΕΕ, δεδομένης της τρέχουσας γεωπολιτικής κατάστασης και της σαφούς προσήλωσης των ηγετών της ΕΕ στην πολιτική διεύρυνσης.
