The 9th meeting of the EU-Armenia Civil Society Platform will take place on10 November 2026 at the EESC in Brussels.
The Platform brings together representatives of EU and Armenian civil society and plays an important role in monitoring CEPA implementation and providing recommendations to the relevant authorities.
The following topics will be discussed:
Panel I Rule-of-law reforms under CEPA: implementation, results and remaining challenges
Panel II Labour in a transforming world: decent work, social dialogue and rights
Panel III Promoting the transition from the informal to the formal economy
Consideration and adoption of the joint declaration of the EU–Armenia Civil Society Platform

The fifth meeting of the EU-Armenia Civil Society Platform (CSP) is scheduled to be held on 15 October 2024 in Brussels.
The meeting will focus on assessing progress in the implementation of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA), with a strong emphasis on its impact in the Areas of Democracy, Rule of Law, Anti-Corruption, and Human Rights.
The forth meeting of the EU-Armenia Civil Society Platform (CSP) was held on 14 March 2024 in Yerevan.
During the meeting, a debate focused on assessing the state of play of the implementation of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement. The CSP also discussed the state of democratic institutions and rule of law in Armenia, as well as the implementation of the Chapter 10 on Agriculture and rural development.
A joint declaration, prepared by both sides, was discussed and adopted.
The External Relations Section (REX) of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) is responsible for dialogue between European civil society organisations and their homologues from the countries with which the European Union has formal relations (e.g. under the form of a Free Trade Agreement). Through this dialogue, made possible by a series of bilateral bodies, and through specialized opinions and information reports, the Committee is able to concretely contribute to EU foreign policy.
The second meeting of the EU-Armenia Civil Society Platform (CSP) was held on 10 March 2023 in Yerevan.
During the meeting, a debate focused on assessing the state of play of the implementation of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement. The CSP debated the current challenges in the implementation of the Agreement and in progressing on the reform agenda.
A joint declaration, prepared by both sides, was discussed and adopted.
