Editorial
Dear friends,
As the CSO-co-chair Brikena Xhomaqi is on maternity leave, it is my pleasure to step in and write the editorial for this edition.
Throughout the Conference on the Future of Europe (CoFoE), many of our organisations were involved in ensuring that the future of Europe continues to be underpinned by solidarity and inclusiveness. On 30 June 2022, a High-Level Conference on Civil Society and the Future of Europe was held in Paris, co-organised by Civil Society Europe, the French Economic, Social and Environmental Council, and the Mouvement Associatif. The event marked an important step in the follow-up to the CoFoE, especially in shaping the future of civil society in Europe by rethinking civil society's political and institutional role. The Civil Society Convention's collective recommendations, "The Future of Europe is Ours", are now available online.
