The ECO section contributes in a partnership to the European Conference "THE ROLE OF LEGAL PROFESSIONS IN EU AML/CFT (Anti Money Laundering / countering the financing of terrorism)". The event is organised by the LIGHT project, that aims to support transnational training of lawyers and notaries covering anti-money laundering. Its goal is to increase the legal competency and then ensure the effectiveness of AML policy. ECO section president Mr Stefano Palmieri and EESC rapporteur on AML/CFT Mr Javier Doz Orrit will speak at the event organised on Tuesday, 25 October 2022, 14:00 - 17:30.
