Mida me eelmisel aastal korda saatsime? Sellest annab teada 2022. aasta tegevusaruanne: tagasivaade möödunud aastale. Millised olid eelmise aasta tähtsündmused ja olulisimad teemad?
2022. aastale vajutasid pitseri pöördelised sündmused. 24. veebruaril 2022 alustas Venemaa provotseerimata sõda Ukraina vastu. Agressiooni algusest peale on komitee toetanud Ukraina kodanikuühiskonda mitmete arvamuste, konverentside ja resolutsioonide kaudu. Avasime oma ruumid Brüsselis tegutsevatele Ukraina kodanikuühiskonna organisatsioonidele, andes neile turvalise koha töö jätkamiseks ja Ukraina kodanikuühiskonna alalhoidmiseks. Komitee kodanikuühiskonna auhind omistati algatustele, mis toetasid sõja tõttu kannatanud tsiviilisikuid.
Vastusena energiahindade tõusule tegi komitee ettepaneku kasutada energiasüsteemi ümberkujundamise suhtes terviklikku lähenemisviisi, mille aluseks on vajadus uue energiamudeli ja energiasõltumatu ELi järele. Ajal mil EL võitleb endiselt COVID-19 pandeemia tagajärgedega, on investeeringud rohe- ja digipöördesse olulisemad kui kunagi varem. Seetõttu on komitee toetanud ka riiklike taaste- ja vastupidavuskavade rakendamist ja jõustamist.
