EESC - EU Careers Virtual Event

On 18 June 2025, the European Economic and Social Committee participated in the virtual event " Shaping Europe together: Discover EU Careers".

Organised by Global Careers, this event brought together a wide range of EU institutions to engage with those who are eager to contribute to Europe's future.

Throughout the day, EESC representatives were available to present the Committee's work, provide insights into its role within the EU framework, and discuss current and future career opportunities. Participants were able to learn more about the EESC’s mission, values, and working culture.

The event featured:

• A live-streamed panel discussion with representatives from several EU institutions, including Ms Edite Kruze, EESC's Head of Unit Recruitment and Salaries;
• One-to-one chat booths, where participants could ask questions and exchange with EESC staff;
• Coffee Corner sessions for informal discussions between EESC HR representatives and small groups of participants.

The event was entirely online and free to attend.

This was an excellent opportunity for individuals from a variety of backgrounds—legal, administrative, economic, communication, policy and more—to explore the diverse career paths the EESC and the other EU institutions have to offer.
