A European industrial policy for quality jobs
Against the background of the upcoming EU Clean Industrial Deal, the discussions will focus on how to shape it in a meaningful way for working people and citizens by building a European industrial policy for quality, skilled, well-paid and unionised jobs in every region.
The seminar, which is jointly organised with ETUC, will be the occasion to analyse together with academic experts, trade union leaders, MEPs, Commission representatives and representatives of the Polish government the current situation and the industrial policy approaches across Europe. It will provide an opportunity to exchange on the key pillars for an ambitious industrial policy delivering on both decarbonisation and the creation of quality jobs through bold investments in innovation, upskilling, and social cohesion.
