Digital euro services in Member States whose currency is not the euro

The Committee endorses the content of the proposal and has already set out its views on the subject of the digital euro in its other opinion, A digital euro and the scope and effects of the legal tender status of banknotes and coins, to be adopted on at the same Plenary session in September 2023. Therefore it decided to issue an opinion endorsing the proposed text and to refer to the position it had taken in the above-mentioned document.
