36th meeting of the European Economic Area Consultative Committee (EEA CC)

The 36th Meeting of the EEA Consultative Committee brought together members of the EESC and the EFTA Consultative Committee for exchanges on current policy developments affecting the European Economic Area. Discussions covered competitiveness and social policy priorities under the Danish EU Presidency, Nordic cooperation on societal preparedness and defence, and the functioning of coordinated multi-employer collective bargaining, with a focus on the Danish model.

The agenda also included discussions on the Arctic in the context of geopolitical interests, EEA EFTA States’ participation in EU programmes for the 2028–2034 period, vocational education and training in Denmark, and preparations for the 37th meeting of the EEA Consultative Committee.
