Workers‘ group - Industrial Change

Industrial transformation is reshaping employment, regional development and entire sectors of the economy, based on both the digital and the green transitions. It brings opportunities for sustainable growth and innovation, but also risks of job displacement, rising inequalities, and territorial divergence.
EU Industrial Policy

Provide affordable energy for industry, promote sustainability and prevent windfall profits.
Anticipate industrial restructuring and involve workers at all levels in information, consultation and participation, using social dialogue.
Promote ‘Made in the EU’ approaches in strategic sectors, based on high social and environmental standards.
Strengthen labour standards and social conditionality in EU Funding, ensuring the full transposition and implementation of the Corporate Due Diligence Directive and banning products made with slave labour.
