The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) is the voice of organised civil society in Europe.

The EESC issues between 160 and 190 opinions, evaluation and information reports a year.
It also organises several annual initiatives and events with a focus on civil society and citizens’ participation such as the Civil Society Prize, the Civil Society Days, the Your Europe, Your Say youth plenary and the ECI Day.

The EESC brings together representatives from all areas of organised civil society, who give their independent advice on EU policies and legislation. The EESC's326 Members are organised into three groups: Employers, Workers and Various Interests.

The EESC has six sections, specialising in concrete topics of relevance to the citizens of the European Union, ranging from social to economic affairs, energy, environment, external relations or the internal market.

Nowe pokolenie artystów stawia różnorodność biologiczną i przyrodę w samym centrum swojej praktyki twórczej. Wystawa online pt. „Bioróżnorodność: artyści przystępują do działania” w doprawdy niepowtarzalny sposób unaocznia związek między ludźmi a przyrodą. Została zorganizowana we współpracy z prezydencją francuską w Radzie UE. Można ją oglądać od 20 maja do 20 czerwca br.
W internetowym projekcie artystycznym bierze udział pięcioro emblematycznych młodych artystów. Zostali wybrani przez francuską delegację w Europejskim Komitecie Ekonomiczno-Społecznym w uznaniu za to, że swoim dziełem zwracają uwagę społeczeństwa na te zagadnienia i wprowadzają je do dyskursu publicznego.
Uczestników wyłoniono spośród 21 laureatów nagrody Planète Art Solidaire (Planeta Sztuka Solidarna), przyznanej w 2021 r. przez organizację non-profit Art of Change 21. Na tej całkowicie wirtualnej wystawie można zobaczyć po jednej pracy każdego artysty. Poszczególnym eksponatom towarzyszy objaśniający komentarz artysty oraz krótki film wideo, w którym twórca opowiada o swojej działalności. (ck)
