Declaration and reaction of the President of The Employers' Group to the adoption of EESC Opinion SC/038 "Social dimension of EMU"

On 22^nd May 2013 the EESC adopted its opinion on "Social dimension of EMU" (SC/038). The Committee's Employers' Group massively abstained or voted against the opinion as it was not convinced by a number of the solutions put forward on the social dimension of EMU. The opinion adopted is in the view of the President of the Employers' Group too one-sided.
