Photo exhibition "Children in War "

The photo exhibition “Children in War” shows photographs of children experiencing war and Ukrainian cities in Ukraine devastated by fighting from 2014 to today. The protagonists in the photos are children living among demolished houses, burnt schools, among the ruins. Each of the 12 photos, in black and white or colour, is a photographic record of the dramatic fate of children whose childhood coincided with the war. The authors of the photographs are Ukrainian and foreign visual artists. The exhibition was organised by the Mission of Ukraine to the EU, the Institute of Public Diplomacy with the support of NGS: Promote Ukraine, and the Creative Agency "Kyiv Culture". The opening took place on 28 November at the Ukrainian Civil Society Hub in Brussels. The photo exhibition at the European Economic and Social Committee  will run until 21 December 2022.

In 2016-2022 the project was demonstrated in Belgium (NATO headquarters), Italy, Vatican, Canada, the USA, Germany Moldova, Jordan, Cyprus, Israel, Greece, Lithuania and Ukraine. The idea and production of the exhibition belongs to Olena Prokopenko.
