Background

This call for tenders is launched to cover needs for external photo services that may arise before finalisation of the open procedure pre-announced in OJ S27 of 9 February 2016 (2016/S 027-04294). The photographic services provided under this call for tenders are complementary to those carried out by the EESC services.

Subject of the tender

The successful tenderer shall carry out the following tasks:

  • photo coverage of selected EESC meetings and events;
  • provision of basic graphic processing services (e.g. picture correction, adding logos etc.) and incorporation of metadata into the photos;
  • electronic delivery of the photos to the EESC.

Type of contract

The EESC intends to conclude a framework contract for 6 months, renewable two times, each time for a period of 6 months, for a total duration of 18 months.

Value

The maximum value of the contract over the whole duration is 22.500 EUR.

Indicative calendar

  1. Launching of the invitation to tender: estimated timing is June 2016
  2. Deadline for submission of offers: 2-3 calendar weeks following the launching of invitation to tender
  3. Contract award: estimated timing is July 2016
