“Dessine-moi…” (Draw me...) - Story of the pandemic told in 43 testimonials by EESC members

This publication is the result of 43 testimonies collected from EESC members across the 27 EU Member States between April and September 2020.

With the phrase Dessine-moi…, borrowed from Antoine de Saint Exupéry's book Le Petit Prince, we asked members to tell us about "the invisible".

They devoted their time and their pens to give readers the chance to discover their world of emotions during the difficult time of the COVID-19 pandemic.

These sincere accounts of a time of involuntary isolation inspire us to seek beauty in others, to be more attentive to the meaning of life and more sensitive to the importance of capturing moments in the course of time and space.

Through their stories, the members have taken us on a journey into their private worlds, offering us a mosaic of landscapes, images, colours and sounds.

We invite you to explore these authentic stories that are so much more important because they were lived with great intensity.

Thank you to the members who participated in the production of this brochure:
