Events
Six events were organised in six countries. The objective was to inform, network and discuss on specific thematic subjects related to EU space policy. Each event and its specific objectives was tailored to the context of the hosting country and coordinated as appropriate with the national actors.
Event in Germany
Date: 25th June 2015

Topic: Promotion of space in schools and universities
The project group visited DLR School Lab to see how to encourage primary-school children to develop an interest in science and technology and discussed with post-graduates about the careers opportunities and research.

Event in Italy

Venue: Rome
Topic: European space policy: are we on the right track?
The aim of this conference was to gather representatives from industry, businesses, national and European authorities to discuss current and future legislative actions in this field.
Event in Lithuania

Venue: Kaunas, KTU Santakos Valley
Topic: Boosting regional success in space: the Baltic way!
The Santakos Valley in Kaunas hosted a conference aimed at the space industry in the Baltic region. The discussions focused on SMEs in the region, integration of satellite data, nanosatellites, regional cooperation, funding opportunities and other topical subjects.

The exhibition So long ago in the future. Dreams for Future Odysseys was a display of 50 paintings by final-year students at the Nicolae Tonitza Fine Arts High School in Bucharest, Romania.
