The EESC is hosting the exhibition Hand in Hand by the Portuguese artist, Maria Reis Rocha.

The exhibition features a series of illustrations and short videos promoting mental health, social participation and transformation, quality education, universal access to healthcare, the fight against poverty and racism, and children's rights.

This series looks at the social dimension of life, which is closely connected to the Portuguese Presidency's priorities of a resilient, green, social, digital and global Europe.

The online exhibition will run from 15 January to 15 February 2021, in connection with the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the EU.

To mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (3 December), the EESC presented the short film To Be and Not to Be (in times of Corona).

The short film was produced by Theatre Stap in November 2020 in Turnhout (Belgium) during the strict measures imposed due to the pandemic.
