Online Media Monitoring service

The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) intend to conclude a service contract for an online media monitoring service on EESC activities and of issues of interest to the EESC.

The contractor should monitor news from online sources woldwide and in all EU Member States, 24/7 and 365 days a year, in all EU languages, to provide daily and weekly reports in electronic format.

The contractor should provide the link to the media items as well as short summaries of the news in English, available for viewing and sharing with all the EESC Members and administrative staff. In delivering the services, the contractor will have to ensure a constant helpdesk service.

The service contract will be signed for a duration of 12 months, renewable maximum 3 times for a period of one year each.

Indicative timetable – subject to changes

• Launch of the procedure to interested potential tenderers: 1 week after the closure of the online publication
• Deadline for offers: 1 month after dispatch of the invitation to tender documents
• Contract award: 3 weeks after the submission of tenders

Participation in tendering procedures is open on equal terms to all natural and legal persons coming within the scope of the Treaties and to all natural and legal persons in a third country which has a special agreement with the Communities in the field of public procurement on the conditions laid down in that agreement.
