Is gá athbhreithniú a dhéanamh ar chreat fioscach an Aontais Eorpaigh. Ní hamháin gur gá an méid sin a dhéanamh chun an geilleagar a chobhsú sa mheántéarma, ach tá gá leis freisin chun claochlú sochéiceolaíoch ár ngeilleagair a mhaoiniú, agus chun fostaíocht iomlán, poist ar ardchaighdeán agus aistrithe córa a ráthú. Dearbhaítear go soiléir sa tuairim a dhréachtaigh Dominika Biegon agus a ghlac an Tionól ag seisiún iomlánach mhí Dheireadh Fómhair nach mór don Choimisiún Eorpach leanúint ar aghaidh agus athbhreithniú a dhéanamh ar chreat rialachais eacnamaíoch an Aontais.
Ag labhairt di le linn na díospóireachta, luaigh Dominika Biegon an méid seo a leanas: ‘Tá CESE i bhfách le réitigh phragmatacha maidir le todhchaí chreat fioscach an Aontais Eorpaigh: léiríonn an tuairim a d’eisíomar conas is féidir deighiltí idé-eolaíocha sa díospóireacht maidir le fiachais cheannasacha a shárú. Is féidir rialacha fioscacha an Aontais a fheabhsú go mór gan Conarthaí an Aontais Eorpaigh a athrú. Is féidir linn deireadh a chur leis an easpa sheasta infheistíochta poiblí, agus níos mó saoirse a thabhairt do na Ballstáit chun cur i gcoinne cor chun donais eacnamaíoch go leordhóthanach amach anseo gan an inbhuanaitheacht fhioscach a chur i mbaol. Ba cheart d’institiúidí an Aontais athchóirithe a mholadh a luaithe is féidir chun an bealach a réiteach le haghaidh téarnamh inbhuanaithe agus aistriú cóir.’
Ní mór d’eagraíochtaí na sochaí sibhialta a bheith níos rannpháirtí sa Seimeastar Eorpach ar an leibhéal náisiúnta agus ar leibhéal an Aontais araon. Ba cheart feidhm a bhaint as prionsabal na comhpháirtíochta, ar traidisiún seanbhunaithe é i rialachas Chistí Struchtúrtha agus Infheistíochta na hEorpa, mar threoirphlean chun ról éifeachtach a thabhairt don tsochaí shibhialta.
