Key points:
The Committee endorses the decision to set up the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking.
However, the Committee reiterates that the following measures are also needed:
- simplified procedures to reduce the negative impact of red tape on R&D programmes;
- a broad information programme to help more effectively mobilise not only industry's own contribution but also the contribution of the other legal entities;
- equitable application of the financing agreement between the Commission and the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking;
- introduction of vocational training programmes.
