Beidh tionchar dosheachanta ag an gComhaontú Glas don Eoraip ar ár gcaidreamh seachtrach. Ag comhdháil hibrideach a chomheagraigh CESE agus Líonra na Náisiún Aontaithe um Réitigh Forbartha Inbhuanaithe (SDSN) sa Bhruiséil an 6 Nollaig, breathnófar ar mhéid an tionchair sin.
Tá sé mar aidhm leis an gComhaontú Glas don Eoraip geilleagar na hEorpa a dhícharbónú agus an nasc idir an fás eacnamaíoch agus úsáid acmhainní a bhriseadh, agus ag an am céanna á áirithiú nach bhfágfar aon duine ná aon áit ar gcúl. Trí chlaochlú tionsclaíoch a margaidh féin, tá sé d’aidhm ag an Eoraip a bheith ina samhail do ghníomhaithe domhanda eile.
Is cinnte go mbeidh tionchar ag úsáid foinsí fuinnimh ghlais ar chaidrimh an Aontais leis an gcuid eile den domhan, lena n-áirítear an Sásra Coigeartaithe Teorann Carbóin a thabhairt isteach agus trí comhaontuithe trádála nuaghlúine níos glaise, réabhlóid atá ag teacht chun cinn san earnáil iompair, agus dúshláin agus deiseanna nua fostaíochta.
Pléifidh cainteoirí ón Aontas Eorpach, Líonra Réitigh na Náisiún Aontaithe um Fhorbairt Inbhuanaithe (SDSN), IPCC (Painéal Idir-Rialtasach na Náisiún Aontaithe ar an Athrú Aeráide) agus ó eagraíochtaí rialtasacha agus neamhrialtasacha éagsúla eile na forbairtí ceannródaíocha seo i bpróiseas ceaptha beartas an Aontais Eorpaigh.
Críochnóidh an chomhdháil le ráiteas clabhsúir ó Uachtarán CESC Christa Schweng, ó Dimitris Dimitriadis, Cathaoirleach Rannóg CESC um Chaidreamh Seachtrach, agus ó chomhaltaí lárnacha CESE.
