Summary report

The EESC's president, Georges Dassis, and the volunteers - 21 EESC members and 67 members of staff - welcomed around 2 700 visitors (300 more than last year).

The atmosphere all day was friendly and welcoming, with no security issues. Throughout the day, the public had the opportunity to exchange views with EESC members and to play interactive games on the EU or the EESC, along with family activities.
