Debate on Planned Obsolescence

Planned obsolescence has been pronounced for the first time in this Committee exactly 10 years ago, and it was in the framework of a CCMI opinion. Rapporteur was Thierry Libaert.

Since then, a lot has been going on on the topic of planned obsolescence, but also on sustainable consumption.
During this debate, we will have the pleasure to listen to several distinguished speakers from different European Institutions.
