For an inclusive, sustainable, strengthened and efficient cohesion policy in Europe: the opinion of European civil society

In the context of the 8th Report on the progress towards achieving economic, social and territorial cohesion that the Commission adopted on 9 February 2022, the EESC is elaborating an opinion. In this framework, the EESC will organise a hearing together with the French ESC in Paris labelled as an event under the auspices of the French Presidency with the title For an inclusive, sustainable, strengthened and efficient cohesion policy in Europe: the opinion of European civil society. It will provide an important input to both the opinion and the Council conclusions  in the second half of French Presidency. The hearing will provide an opportunity for the representatives of civil society to express their views on this important issue and propose possible solutions to achieve the recovery from the COVID-19 crisis.

The event is organised in Paris (Conseil Économique, Social et Environnemental, Place d'Iéna) on 5 April 2022, starting at 14:00 as an hybrid meeting - accessible via webstream (without registration) or in person (with registration).
