All-DAGs meeting 2022

The 2022 meeting of the All DAGs (Domestic Advisory Groups) which is taking place on 12 July starting at 10 a.m. in a Hybrid format at the EESC premises (room JDE52) follows the recent adoption of the European Commission Communication on the Trade and Sustainable Development Review (TSD): 'The power of trade partnerships: together for green and just economic growth'. This review constitutes a major re-thinking of the EU approach to its trade and sustainable development (TSD) chapters and strengthens TSD enforcement and enforceability by introducing the possibility of trade sanctions and underpins the role of the DAGs by a new level of institutional involvement.

The meeting will look at the state of play and future of the Domestic Advisory Groups (DAGs) under the EU Free Trade Agreements, as well as the important role of trade and sustainability in promoting fair and inclusive growth worldwide and resilient supply chains. DAG Members will have the opportunity to discuss the impact of DAGs, their successes, challenges and perspectives in a changing world.
