Youngsters and the EU: Perceptions, Knowledge and Expectations - Study

The study is conducted at national schools in four EU Member States (FR, DE, RO, IT), and in the corresponding language sections of the European Schools in Brussels. This is done to better understand whether the youngsters' understanding of and attitudes towards the EU differ depending on whether they have been enrolled to a national school or to a European School. Since the general mission of the European Schools is to create a multilingual and multicultural environment, the study seeks to test the hypothesis assuming that the pupils of the European Schools would be more prone to having more open attitudes towards the EU, and its diversity.
