Mainstreaming Water Resilience in the EU Budget is a timely discussion on securing Europe’s water future. Water resilience must become a strategic priority across all EU spending programmes and policies.

Discover how smarter EU investments can strengthen water resilience, sustainability, and preparedness.
Explore how funding can better support innovation, infrastructure, efficiency, and nature-based solutions.
The event will examine priorities for the EU’s next Multiannual Financial Framework. It will highlight how long-term budgeting can respond to growing water scarcity, floods, and pollution risks, while supporting the resilience of communities and competitiveness of industries.

Special attention will be given to the European Economic and Social Committee’s EU Blue Deal flagship initiative. The EU Blue Deal calls for water to be treated with the same urgency as the Green Deal in Europe’s future agenda.

The event will be webstreamed and open to all interested stakeholders. No registration is needed and participation is free of charge.
