  • The 17th meeting of the EU Domestic Advisory Group (DAG) under CETA will take place on 7 May 2026.

    During the meeting, EU DAG members will discuss the DAG's priorities and define its work programme for the coming years.

    The discussions will also provide an opportunity to exchange views with the European Commission on the implementation of the TSD Chapter, as well as prepare for the upcoming joint meetings with our Canadian counterparts, scheduled to take place in Ottawa from 1 to 3 June 2026.

  • This public hearing will bring together policymakers and civil society stakeholders to discuss on existing initiatives, the role that civil society should play, and what policy actions are necessary to untap their potential in this regard.

    This public hearing will feed into the works on the own-initiative opinion which aims to clearly define social farming as an innovation in agriculture, highlighting its social impacts and to identify barriers to its development - such as legislative frameworks, recognition of services, financing, insurance, quality and safety, capacities and competences.

  • The 17th meeting of the EU-Moldova Civil Society Platform will place on 24 April 2026 in Chisinau. The debate will focus assessing the state of play in the implementation of the EU-Moldova Association Agreement as well as the progress made by the Republic of Moldova on EU accession path. In addition, the Platform will discuss how to strengthen the civic space and the operating environment for civil society, the role of civil society in monitoring the Growth Plan, and the alignment of the national legal framework governing labour relations and social dialogue with the European acquis. A joint declaration will be adopted at the end of the meeting.

    The 22nd meeting of the EU–Montenegro Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) was hold in Podgorica. The meeting brought together representatives of organised civil society from the European Union and Montenegro to exchange views on recent developments in EU–Montenegro relations and on key priorities in the EU accession process.

  • Meeting of the Category "Workers' Voice for more democratic participation"

    Conference co-organised by the EESC Workers’ Group and ETUC, divided in two thematic sessions.

    • The morning session will focus on the theme: "28th Regime - Why are red flags rising".
    • The afternoon session will cover the issue: "EU's Competitiveness agenda for workers: European investment and transformation for quality jobs".
  • The 25th meeting of the EU-Colombia/Peru/Ecuador Domestic Advisory Group held on 20 April 2026 focused on the political, social and labour situation in the Andean region alongside the implementation of the EU trade agreement. Participants highlighted a deteriorating context marked by political instability, security concerns and persistent human rights and labour rights violations, as well as broader issues such as environmental degradation and the impact of drug trafficking.
