The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) is the voice of organised civil society in Europe.

The EESC issues between 160 and 190 opinions, evaluation and information reports a year.
It also organises several annual initiatives and events with a focus on civil society and citizens’ participation such as the Civil Society Prize, the Civil Society Days, the Your Europe, Your Say youth plenary and the ECI Day.

The EESC brings together representatives from all areas of organised civil society, who give their independent advice on EU policies and legislation. The EESC's326 Members are organised into three groups: Employers, Workers and Various Interests.

Kao ljekarnica, u ovo doba koronavirusa intenzivno sam se bavila temom rodne medicine. Upravo u području psihičkog zdravlja vidljive su rodne razlike u slučajevima COVID-a.
Muškarci, osobito mladi, razmjerno češće završe na jedinicama intenzivne njege, a češće i umiru.
Od početka mjera ograničenja kretanja mlade žene obolijevaju češće zbog novih uloga u kojima se nalaze zbog nesigurnih radnih mjesta, više rada na nepuno radno vrijeme, više kontakata, manje rada od kuće i poslova povezanih s njegom.
U obiteljima se opet moramo osvrnuti na ulogu žena i starijih osoba jer se i starije osobe diskriminira. To su teme o kojima ću nastaviti voditi razgovore.
U posljednje sam vrijeme znala sjesti na klupu pred našu ljekarnu i raspravljati o tome s članovima obitelji i svi su se rado upuštali u te razgovore.
S ceste sam pozdravljala i stanare doma za starije koji su bili na prozorima pa bismo zajedno i zapjevali.
Moramo prebroditi usamljenost i podržati bližnje. Na političkoj razini to treba učiniti poticanjem zapošljavanja u tom području, ali dok se to ne ostvari, svi moramo iskazati podršku.
Također sam ispitivala roditelje o obrazovanju i organizirala videokonferencije s nastavnicima o medijskoj pismenosti.
