"Rentrée Académique" Europe’s future in a time of uncertainty: Autonomy, resilience and preparedness

In times of global uncertainty, digital transformation, and cross-cutting challenges, the Consultative Commission on Industrial Change (CCMI) is embarking on a new mandate in which it aims to become a laboratory for foresight and ideas for industrial transformation and resilience, and a platform for concrete actions in Europe.

Looking into the EU's strategic autonomy, competitiveness and preparedness, the work of the CCMI will contribute to building a just, green and blue industry, ready for the new technological challenges that lie ahead.

In this context, this first Rentrée Académique will present some of the main objectives of the CCMI's mandate, but will also bring together European policy makers, academics, and industry representatives to examine the challenges facing EU territories, citizens, and industries, with a strong forward-looking dimension and a future-oriented approach.
