2. Adoption of the agenda

3. Adoption of the draft minutes of the previous meeting

   Adoption of the draft minutes of the previous EEA CC meeting, held in Reykjavik on 23-24 May 2024.

4. Enhancing the functioning of the Single Market and improving European competitiveness

   • Presentation by Mr Stefano Mallia, President of the EESC Employers Group  (remotely).

5. Norway’s experience under the EEA Agreement

   • Presentation of the report on Norway’s experience of cooperation under the EEA Agreement since 2012 by Line Eldring, Head of the review committee, head of department at the Norwegian United Federation of Trade Unions (remotely) .

     Followed by a discussion.

6. Cooperation and negotiations between Switzerland and the EU
   • Alexander Renggli, Deputy Head of the Mission of Switzerland to the EU, will present the current state of cooperation and negotiations between Switzerland and the EU.
7. Civil preparedness and defence

• Presentation by Ariane Rodert, Rapporteur of the forthcoming EESC Opinion on "A coordinated EU civil preparedness and defence", SOC/812.
