Fundamental Rights and the Rule of Law

This report provides an overview of the visits organised by the EESC Fundamental Rights and Rule of Law (FRRL) group in 2022.

It deals with six country visits: to Greece, Finland, Slovakia, Portugal, Sweden, Slovenia. 

The report follows two previous synthesis reports:

  • the first synthesis report, issued by the FRRL group in June 2020, covered the first seven visits, which took place in the first two years of the Group's existence (2018-2019), to Romania, Poland, Hungary, Austria, France, Bulgaria and Italy
  • the second synthesis report, issued in September 2022, covered six visits, which took place in 2020-2021, to Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Czech Republic, Spain, Cyprus and Lithuania.
