The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) is the voice of organised civil society in Europe.

The EESC issues between 160 and 190 opinions, evaluation and information reports a year.
It also organises several annual initiatives and events with a focus on civil society and citizens’ participation such as the Civil Society Prize, the Civil Society Days, the Your Europe, Your Say youth plenary and the ECI Day.

The EESC brings together representatives from all areas of organised civil society, who give their independent advice on EU policies and legislation. The EESC's326 Members are organised into three groups: Employers, Workers and Various Interests.

Zajedno za europske vrijednosti
Drage čitateljice, dragi čitatelji,
komunikacijska strategija koju smo izradili 2022. sada ulazi u fazu provedbe.
Događaju se brojne promjene – naš glas postaje sve snažniji, bolje razumijemo svoje dionike i partnere i pronašli smo zajednički jezik s njima.
Živimo u doba višestruke krize, prožeto socijalnom i gospodarskom nesigurnošću, i stoga moramo jasno i s empatijom prenositi našu svrhu i misiju te se, po potrebi, poslužiti svojom emocionalnom inteligencijom.
Moramo preuzeti novu ulogu u pripremi za europske izbore 2024. kako bismo učvrstili demokratske vrijednosti i Europu učinili snažnijom i otpornijom na prijetnju autoritarnih ideologija.
Osim toga, u kontekstu 65. obljetnice EGSO-a, ojačat ćemo svoj utjecaj na sadašnje i buduće zakonodavstvo EU-a kako bi ono bolje služilo našim socijalnim partnerima, civilnom društvu i građanima EU-a.
