Il-Ġimgħa Ekoloġika tal-UE, li se ssir bejn it-3 u l-5 ta’ Ġunju, se tkun iddedikata għal Ewropa nadifa, kompetittiva u ċirkolari.
Il-Pjattaforma Ewropea tal-Partijiet Interessati tal-Ekonomija Ċirkolari, l-inizjattiva ewlenija tal-Kumitat Ekonomiku u Soċjali Ewropew (KESE) u l-Kummissjoni, hija kburija li torganizza b’mod konġunt il-Ġimgħa Ekoloġika tal-UE 2025, b’enfasi fuq soluzzjonijiet ċirkolari għal UE kompetittiva. Il-konferenza ta’ din is-sena se tindirizza kif l-ekonomija ċirkolari tista’ ttejjeb il-kompetittività sostenibbli, tnaqqas l-iskart, u tixpruna l-innovazzjoni. Mit-3 sal-4 ta’ Ġunju se jiġu organizzati dibattiti ta’ livell għoli biex jiġu analizzati l-aspetti ta’ politika taċ-ċirkolarità, u mbagħad, fil-5 ta’ Ġunju, se jkun hemm diskussjonijiet fil-fond mal-partijiet ikkonċernati dwar il-potenzjal taċ-ċirkolarità għal Ewropa effiċjenti fir-riżorsi u kompetittiva.
L-avveniment se jkun ukoll l-okkażjoni biex jiġi ppreżentat ir-rapport tad-djalogu tal-partijiet ikkonċernati li sar fl-10 ta’ April fil-KESE. Dan l-avveniment preparatorju għall-konferenza kien l-opportunità għall-partijiet ikkonċernati biex ikollhom diskussjonijiet vivaċi dwar il-Patt għal Industrija Nadifa, l-istrateġija dwar il-bijoekonomija, u l-Att dwar l-Ekonomija Ċirkolari li jmiss.
