In the context of the Sustainable Development Observatory meeting, this public event will explore the aftermath of recent climate catastrophes in Europe and look at ways of aligning science and policy.
562nd plenary session of the EESC, with the following guests: Anže Logar, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, A post-Covid economy that works for all - Towards a well-being economy? with Tim Jackson, James Watson, Sandrine Dixson-Declève and Fabrice Murtin, and a debate on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with Jayant Narayan.
The public hearing on 15 March 2021 is aiming to engage a range of civil society stakeholders to discuss the new EU strategy on adaptation to climate change adopted by the European Commission on 24 February 2021 and to provide input to develop civil society's position on the strategy's objective.
