Conclusions of the joint workshop on civil society contribution to EU-Russia relations

This third joint workshop was organised by the CCRF and the EESC in Moscow on 28-29 June 2010 in the presence of Mr Evgeniy Velikhov, President of the CCRF, and Mr Seppo Kallio, Vice-President of the EESC. The workshop participants greatly appreciated a message delivered on behalf of Mr Sergei Lavrov, the Russian Minister for Foreign Affairs and exchanged views on the state of play of negotiations of a new agreement between the EU and the Russian Federation, civil society contribution to EU-Russia relations, the launching of the Partnership for Modernisation initiative, the structure of social dialogue, as well as issues related to youth mobility and entrepreneurship.
