Workers’ Group Designates Candidates for the EESC 2025–2028 Term
The Workers’ Group has completed the nomination process for its designated candidates for the 2025–2028 term.
The Group has designated:
- Cinzia DEL RIO for the position of President of the SOC Section (Employment, Social Affairs and Citizenship).
- Stefano PALMIERI for the position of President of the REX Section (External Relations).
They will take office during the European Economic and Social Committee’s renewal in October 2025. With the designated candidates, the Workers’ Group looks ahead to a new mandate and will continue to strengthen the voice of workers within the EESC.
