Comitato economico e sociale europeo
Studenti di scuola superiore provenienti da tutta Europa hanno preso parte a un vertice europeo virtuale della gioventù sul clima organizzato dal Comitato economico e sociale europeo (CESE) il 18 e 19 marzo 2021, al termine del quale hanno presentato al vicepresidente esecutivo della Commissione europea Frans Timmermans una serie di proposte concrete.
Il Procuratore nazionale antimafia italiano Federico Cafiero De Raho ha invocato la necessità per l'Europa di agire come un unico paese contro la criminalità organizzata, con sistemi di monitoraggio elevati e risposte giudiziarie immediate. Nella conferenza online organizzata dal CESE si è parlato della capacità delle mafie di infiltrarsi nell'economia legale, rappresentando una minaccia ancora più pericolosa in tempi di pandemia.
