The ECO section contributes, in a partnership with Confrontations Europe, to the event "European Long-Term Symposium". In its fifth edition, it will be focused on the role of long-term investment in the recovery of the EU economy following the COVID-19 pandemic, the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and the implementation of the EU Green Deal. A diversity of stakeholders will intervene, including representatives of civil society organisations, private investors from financial and non-financial sector, and EU institutions representatives.
The President of the EESC, Ms Christa Schweng, and the President of the ECO Section, Mr Stefano Palmieri, will participate as speakers.
The event will take place on Monday, 5 December 2022, from 9:00 to 16:00 hours.
