O Espaço Económico Europeu (EEE) reúne os Estados‑Membros da UE e os três Estados da EFTA membros do EEE (Islândia, Listenstaine e Noruega) num mercado interno regulado pelas mesmas regras de base com o objetivo de permitir a livre circulação de mercadorias, serviços, capitais e pessoas no EEE, num ambiente aberto e concorrencial. O Acordo sobre o Espaço Económico Europeu entrou em vigor em 1 de janeiro de 1994.

O Comité Consultivo do Espaço Económico Europeu (CC‑EEE) faz parte do Acordo EEE (artigo 96.º) e foi criado em 1994.

    The 24th meeting of of the European Economic Area Consultative Committee took place in Vaduz (Liechtenstein) on 19-20 May 2016.

     

    The members of the Committee discussed the latest developments in EEA and well as EU/EFTA issues. The Consultative Committee adopted two resolutions on the following topics:

    • Labour Mobility in the EEA
    • Better regulation to support businesses and protect workers in the EEA
