Support for Polish workers mobilising in Warsaw for the National March of Discontent.

On behalf of the Workers’ Group, I wish to convey our strongest support to the All-Poland Alliance of Trade Unions (OPZZ) and to all Polish workers mobilising in Warsaw on the 27th of September for the National March of Discontent.

Frustrated with the government's lack of response to their demands, Polish workers are calling for the conditions needed for a just and decent society: higher wages and job security, strong public services, a just green transition, affordable housing, safe work and safe lives, and genuine social dialogue. Their demands reflect not only national concerns but also the common struggle of working people across Europe for justice, equality, and security in the face of growing precarity and austerity measures.

We stand firmly with OPZZ and all those who will take to the streets to defend social rights, public services, and labour protections.

We stand, as ever, with you.

In solidarity,

Lucie Studničná
