Strengthening cohesion policy in the implementation of National and Regional Partnership Plans involves aligning regional development strategies with the broader goals of the EU’s cohesion policy. This means enhancing coordination between national, regional, local authorities and civil society to ensure effective use of EU funds, reduce regional disparities, and promote balanced economic, social, and territorial development. By fostering collaboration and encouraging tailored approaches that reflect local needs and priorities, these partnership plans help deliver more inclusive, sustainable, and resilient outcomes across all regions.

In this context, the EESC organises a public hearing on Tuesday, 11 November 2025 starting at 10:00. The event will be webstreamed. No registration is needed and participation is free of charge.
