One Europe, One Market: from strategy to delivery
Europe stands at a pivotal moment. Delivering a stronger, fairer, more competitive Single Market requires not just vision — but action. On 3 June 2026, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), the Committee of the Regions (CoR) and the European Parliament (EP) will jointly organise a half-day event to bring together EU institutions, civil society stakeholders, and experts to turn strategy into concrete delivery for citizens and businesses.
The first panel looks at the essentials that make the Single Market work: safe products, effective market surveillance, fair e‑commerce, and strong standards. Speakers will explore how the EU Products Act and the CPC Regulation can reinforce consumer trust and fair competition.
The second panel approaches public procurement as one of Europe’s strongest levers for change. This discussion focuses on how procurement can drive sustainability, circularity, and innovation, supporting the green objectives and the goals of the Circular Economy Act.
The third panel turns examines how the Digital Single Market, simplification, and reduced administrative burdens can strengthen competitiveness and support SMEs. The debate highlights what is needed to make the Digital Single Market more coherent, accessible, and future‑ready.
Join us for a morning of insightful and forward‑looking debates on the future of the Single Market.
While registration is free, please note that other costs such as transport/travel/accommodation are not covered by the organisers. Registration will be closed on 1 June 2026 (eob).
